Fairouzeh is located 4 km from Homs and forms a tapestry of various parishes. In addition to the original residents of Fairouzeh, whose numbers have dwindled due to migration, the community includes several families from Saddad, Al-Qaryatayn, and Homs city.

The emigrants maintain strong ties with their village and express their love and connection through continuous interaction and the establishment of charitable associations to support their families in Fairouzeh.

Like other parishes, this community hosts the St. Elias Center for Religious Education, which caters to all stages from kindergarten to higher levels. The center also includes the Fountain of Love Society for Special Needs, which helps integrate individuals with special needs into society and aids in their physical development through a sensory-motor center.

The Syriacs in Fairouzeh have built three churches and monasteries over the years:

  1. Monastery of St. Elias, consecrated in 1961 and renovated in 2003.
  2. Church of the Virgin Mary.
  3. Church of St. George.
